A scene we go to so often: Jesus at the lakeshore with a crowd and Peter and his tired and frustrated companions. Life is challenging, and we are in the middle of it. Where we are, Jesus meets us and get through to us. When we are seeking to set the faith of others ablaze, when we are trying to be another Christ, we find difficulty at times. But where we are, Jesus is there with us. Patience, prayer, fasting (especially from modern distractions) will be our best preparation for speaking and acting effectively as Jesus prompts us.
