We continue our look into the top 10 reasons people fail a driving test, today looking at 'not moving off safely,' which is number 5 in the list provided by the DVSA. We look into some key examples such as pulling away from behind a parked car and moving away after the park on the right exercise. But as with each of these episodes, we delve into the underlying causes. Often the reason for the fault is more telling. Is your focus in the correct place? Have you had enough practice?
