Laura Bates studied English at Cambridge University and went on to be a freelance journalist and the founder of the Everyday Sexism Project. She is now an award-winning campaigner and a leading voice on women's issues. Her book 'Girl Up' exposes the truth about the pressures surrounding body image, the false representations in media, the complexities of a sex and relationships, the trials of social media and all the other lies they told us. 5x15 brings together five outstanding individuals to tell of their lives, passions and inspirations.
