I have wanted to visit this beautiful place for so long. I’m so grateful that I got to get away for a few days.I flew into Flagstaff and rented a car. I agonized over where to stay because there are so many fabulous spas and Airbnbs. In the end, because I was traveling alone, I decided on a basic hotel (The Sedona Rouge Hotel). It felt safe and I wasn’t looking to spend a lot of time at the spa. I wanted to hike. I will definitely come back for a more romantic trip and stay in a nicer place. I loved the location and that my room had a fire place.I did try the spa for a treatment and it was very nice. I also got a quick shoulder rub at Sedona’s New Day Spa and loved it.It’s so important to think through your trip and what you want to get out of it.
