Chapter 60 – Fourth Year - October

The marauders extend their snogging bet through the year while Remus focuses on researching werewolf attacks and Greyback in old Daily Prophet editions. He plans to consult Ferox for information about hunting werewolves. October brings double full moons, causing Remus to miss Halloween. He spends peaceful autumn days in the Quidditch stands doing homework while watching James and Sirius practice, and encourages Sirius to try out for the team again, successfully predicting his friend will overcome his pride.
