Finding Christ, Found By Christ

St. Bartholomew's first meeting with Jesus is recorded in the Gospel of St. John. Introduced by Philip, Bartholomew is struck by Jesus's already knowing him before they ever met. Jesus is struck in turn by Bartholomew's sincerity, "an Israelite in whom there is no guile."
