What to do if your offer is accepted?

We are taught to put in lots of offers on buildings and to continue seeking out more deals. That is the theory of the numbers game, eventually someone is going to say yes.  When someone does accept your offer it can be a surprise or even a shock. The first feeling might be elation, then the question of "Did I offer too much", followed by "What on earth do I do now?"
