The company has already secured $12 million in funding from investors, including Mayfield, AME Cloud Ventures, Wireframe Ventures, and Y Combinator. Prior to this, Jason Springs sold the previous company he cofounded, GeneWEAVE, to Roche in 2015 fo $425 million.
