PREMIERE: Vanertia - The Hunter [Alpenglühen]

Much like a being gliding through a dimly lit forest, smoothly shifting between the trees, and branches. Never once announcing themselves, or giving undue attention to itself until necessary. The aptly named Hunter builds and builds tension ever so higher before giving way in the final moments where all eyes shine on the scene ahead. Through deft use of chimes, flutes and guttural melodic growls, the atmosphere is kept to that of an untamed land, fraught with excitement and the unknown. With all elements elevated by the choice of a half-time tempo, adding rhythm and a delightful sense of energy. Though the moniker may be new, the artists behind it are no stranger to the scene or Delayed. Vand and !nertia have joined forces under Vanertia for a four track release titled Kronicles, forthcoming as the latest chapter on the lovely Alpenglühen imprint. Both artists' sounds are represented well here, with Vand bringing his signature dubbed out vibes, that compliment, and are expounded on by !nertia’s more atmospheric and hypnotic moods.
