Haleigh Rosa, a model, disability advocate and founder of 'foreveryone.foundation' and was one of the first people to speak out against Fox News commentator Candace Owens' ignorant comments made last week about how far we are going to take this inclusivity thing' remark referring to the SKIMS Adaptive Collection featuring Rosa who is paralyzed from the waist down after a car accident, and is a wheelchair user. Haleigh Rosa is a disability advocate from South Florida. While working for an NBC News affiliate at the age of 25, she was injured in a car accident leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. After noticing the lack of representation in society for the disabled community, Haleigh sought to make changes. Fueled by her passion to not let circumstances define her, Haleigh works to bring inclusivity and accessibility to a new generation of consumers. She has since collaborated with iconic brands like Off—White, LVMH, SKIMS and Tommy Hilfiger—bringing disability to the forefront of a changing cultural landscape. Her campaign for Off—White titled, “FOR EVERYONE”, was cited by CNN as one of fashion industry’s moves to set a new precedent for inclusive casting.
