A mischievous spirit terrorises a Welsh valleys' "most haunted" cottage on Nos Calan Gaeaf. It was just before Halloween in 1893 that this fantastical tale emerged from the Rhondda Valleys. A group of locals were being spooked by "hideous apparitions" and one woman claimed that she was – quite literally – swept off her feet.
