Episode 21 - Obi-Wan Series! - Bad (or good?) Watto Impressions!

The boys wrap on their experience being guests on the WSTRMedia and Around the Galaxy podcasts. Spoiler, we went longer than expected and it was a ton of fun. Ironically, this pod was right at 1 hour - which is always the goal. We hit on all the typical topics and try out a new bit that could be huge…or disappointing. He wanted to know some tips for just starting a vintage SW figures collection. Make a list, make a budget, be diligent on seller sites like Facebook groups, eBay, OfferUp, LetItGo, etc. We love this! 21:02 - Collector Tip: How to brighten up faded figures/vehicles that used to be white using some hydrogen peroxide and sunlight. 27:40 - Easter Egg. The character Bossk’s outfit from Empire Strikes Back is taken directly from an early Doctor Who outfit. 32:20 - Star Wars Impressions! This is a new bit that we’ll do occasionally. The energy picks up, once they get past the origins of this potentially terrible idea. Or maybe it’s genius? Time will tell, but for now, we’ll try to see who did a better Italian Watto. Even had a “Russian Mic” reference. If you ever thought we were dorks, this might be the most damning evidence. 40:50 - Main topic is the Obi-Wan Disney Plus series all but confirmed with Ewan McGregor. We have great plans for this….plot ideas, who is on the planet at this time (Jabba’s rise to power, Yak Face, Amanaman), how much Owen/Beru/Luke intersect with his goings on while hanging out on Tatooine.
