A call to worship.

Live to Love Scripture Encouragement - Een podcast door Norm Wakefield

Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! Do you not agree with Paul’s conclusion about God after reading and listening to Paul’s explanation of the gospel from Rom. 1:16 through 11:32? What a glorious praise about God. God’s wisdom, knowledge, judgments, and ways are beyond our capacity to understand and comprehend. This is meant to shut the mouths of all who think they could tell God a better way to run His creation or to orchestrate their lives. And at the same time it calls them into worship. It’s meant to humble the proud, but at the same time offer them hope of forgiveness and righteousness. The Holy Spirit inspired this verse so that we all, Jew and Gentile, male or female, rich or poor, educated or uneducated, might accept and love one another with Jesus. All who believe in Jesus stand in grace on level, holy ground. Let’s offer our praise by the Holy Spirit with the apostle Paul. It is a call to worship. Father, the depths of the riches of Your wisdom and knowledge are stunning. We praise You and surrender our lives to You in worship and trust. We humble ourselves and agree with Paul that Your judgments about mankind, about each of us specifically is right. You have used perfect judgment in Your dealings with us. Thank You for being merciful to us when we have questioned Your judgments and complained about Your ways. Forgive us for Jesus’ name sake. Help us live in awe and respect for You, Your Word, Your wisdom, knowledge, judgments, and ways. Fill us with Your love for each other according to the mercies You have bestowed on us. Amen.
