Continuous praise, giving thanks to His name

Hebrews 13:15 Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name. Today we are encouraged by the blessing we have received through our relationship with God through Jesus Christ, our high priest. We are encouraged to continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God by giving thanks to God in Jesus’ name. Jesus’ name is synonymous with His works, namely His substitutionary work in the atonement and His intercessory work through His life now in heaven, united with the Father. We are encouraged to let our praises and thanksgiving burst forth from our lips to God. If you remember, the first part of this chapter was focused on our showing our gratitude to God for His giving us an unshakable kingdom. In this verse we are told to continually praise God for what He has done by giving thanks to Him. I hope you’ll join me in obeying this Scripture. I’m going to praise His name with thanksgiving and use Psalms 118 as my guide. O, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever! Let us say together, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let all who live to love with Jesus say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let those who have received an unshakable kingdom in Christ say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Out of our distress we called on the Lord; the Lord answered us and set us free. The Lord is on our side; we will not fear. What can man do to us? The Lord is on our side as our helper. It's better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. The Lord is our strength and our song; He has become our salvation. Open to us the gates of righteousness, that we may enter through them and give thanks to You, Lord. Thanksgiving is the gate of the Lord; the righteous shall enter through it. I thank You, Lord, that You have answered us and have become our salvation. The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. Lord Jesus, You are the cornerstone. This is your doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. We are so blessed to come to You, Father, in the glorious name of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. We bless You from the house of the Lord, for we are Your temple. Lord Jesus, You are God, and You have made Your light to shine upon us. You are our God, and we will give thanks to You. You are our God; we will extol You. Oh my friends, continually give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever! I invite you to become a partner in our ministry.
