Expressions of God’s love.

Live to Love Scripture Encouragement - Een podcast door Norm Wakefield

Romans 11:1 I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. To refute the idea that God has rejected His people when He says, “All the day long I have stretched out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people,” Paul cited his own testimony. God has accepted him, an Israelite, descendant of Abraham from the tribe of Benjamin. Paul did not want his readers to think that there was no hope for his Jewish brethren. If God saved Paul, then God’s righteousness is available and handy to the Jewish people. Let’s remember that Jesus is a Jew. He lives to love His people Israel. Paul had been promoting the idea that the Israel God has in mind is not just the descendants of Abraham, but includes Gentiles as well. Because we have the life of Christ within us, we are expressing His love to everyone so that God may save whoever He wishes. Would you join me in asking for the power of His love to flow in our lives today? Father, glorify Your Son in our lives by empowering us with Your superpower, Your love for Your people. Bring them into our paths and give us the boldness and grace to reach out to them in love. We ask this is Jesus’ name.
