While the 70s may be known for producing stadium rock and powerhouse bands, this period also saw the rise of the singer-songwriter. These were artists with no interest in singing songs written for them by record company songwriting teams. Rather, they had something to say in their own words set to their own music. Usually deeply personal, sometimes confessional,  their songs stand the test of time. This week Marty and Venetia bring you some outstanding tracks from their favourite seventies singer-songwriters.
