After a great start from Grant Holmes and some early home runs, things got ugly for the Braves late as they dropped game one to the Brewers. Holmes dazzled for 5 innings allowing just 1 run, but the bullpen fell apart allowing 7 runs in the final 4 innings, and the offense couldn’t keep up. There is a lot of activity at the trade deadline, but nothing so far for the Braves. Time is running out for Alex Anthopoulos to help this team get going.
