This ambition culminated in a dramatic spell-casting duel with members of the secret society, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a confrontation that nearly turned deadly and which ultimately brought about the group's downfall. The unconventional wizard fight drew police intervention and subsequent court proceedings, thrusting this dark arts practitioner into the public eye but little did everyone realise, things were about to get a hell of a lot weirder.
