What is fellowship? (1 John 1:1-7)

Is it necessary to fellowship with Yah's (God's) people when  we are able?  What happens if we refuse to fellowship and assemble with Yah's people when we are able?   Any significant world events will be discussed on this program according to Luke 21:34-36 and 1 Thessalonians 5:1-8.
