Wasif Rizvi is the founding president of Habib University, the first liberal arts institution in Pakistan. Planning for the University began in 2010, with the first calls of students accepted in 2014. Thanks to the largest gift in the history of higher education in Pakistan, $50M from the Habib Corporation, the University was able to quickly build a new campus. Rizvi shares insights on all the elements that went into creating a successful new institution that has greatly expanded access to higher education for talented, low-income students in Pakistan.
