Happy Full House Friday Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Continuing with the birthday theme for the month of August we now move on to Stephanie in S516: Crushed, which aired on January 14, 1992. In this episode Pop singer Tommy Page performs at Stephanie's 10th birthday party. A tug of war breaks out between Stephanie and DJ over Tommy when DJ takes an interest in him after she takes him on a 2 hour tour of San Francisco. Hearts are breaking in the Tanner house along with misunderstandings, embarrassing baby pictures, wedding invitations and also Michelle is so desperate to make Nicky and Alex (who at this point are maybe 3-4 months old) laugh she enrolls in Joey Gladstone's Comedy College, which ends with Joey getting a pie in the face as Michelle turns the tables on him, will she finally get Nicky and Alex to laugh and prove Michelle has a sense of humor? Listen to find out! I also learned that at one point Danny and Pam might have been anti vaxxers because we learn that DJ got the mumps. I did the math and DJ was born in 1976, the MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)Vaccine was made available in 1971. So, I'm guessing that they learned from that mistake so Stephanie and Michelle must have been given the vaccination at some point. Aunt Becky is again giving love advice to one of the girls on their birthday. This is a sweet moment and Aunt Becky validates her relationship with Jesse being so solid and built on mutual trust, understanding and commitment that he would never cheat on her. I bring up the S4E9: One Last Kiss, where Jesse goes to his 10 Year High School Reunion (granted later we learn he never graduated school in S6E19: Subterranean Graduation Blues)he sees his old girlfriend Carrie and he later kisses her while he's at the time engaged to Becky. I consider that cheating. But I'll get more into that when I cover that episode. Join me next week when I cover S2E20: I'm There For You, Babe, which aired on April 14, 1989 in honor of John Stamos's birthday on August 19. In this episode Jesse's birthday, 26, starts with presents that are quickly followed by demands to help the girls, Danny and Joey. In the evening he's to have a concert but his band has left for another town. If you'd like to email the podcast you can do so at: [email protected] Have a great weekend
