Bo Remenyi's first year as a doctor in Doomadgee in Queensland shocked her. She saw a disease virtually eradicated from Australia's white population decades ago still killing young people: rheumatic heart disease. Bo's work has been instrumental in raising awareness and understanding of the condition and influenced the national strategy to end rheumatic heart disease by 2031 - but she says we're not on track to meet that goal and the clock is ticking.
