More than 150,000 lives have been claimed by the ongoing conflict in Sudan – which began two years ago when the Sudanese army and the RSF (Rapid Support Forces) began a vicious struggle for power. At present, an estimated 14.9 million people need urgent water and sanitation. The country is ‘on the brink’ of a health disaster following an outbreak of cholera.
