Throughout this federal election campaign, Australians have heard big promises for the nation's healthcare system, which will cost billions of dollars. These pledges have centred on boosting bulk-billing, reducing the costs of medicines on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS), and increasing urgent care clinics, with Labor and the Coalition largely seeing eye-to-eye on these plans.
