Iconic music venue may be forced to close

One of Melbourne's legendary live music venues, The Night Cat, may be forced to close its doors after a developer — who's seeking a permit to build a residential and office complex nearby — sought an enforcement order against the venue. The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal ruled The Night Cat had breached the conditions of its planning permit, with regards to noise.
