And neo-Nazi drama "Romper Stomper" just might be the one that changed his mind. Before there was 2000's "Gladiator" or 2012's "Les Miserables," a young Russell Crowe was looking mighty fine while sporting tighty whities, engaging in some ultraviolence, and throwing in a little surprise doggystyle. But make no mistake, "Romper Stomper" was a serious film that straddled the line between zombie movie and "American History X." And it made some points that are incredibly relevant today.
