We’re headed back to 2018. Summertime. Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s relationship accelerated faster than the earth’s rising temperatures. Initial tabloid reports of a “casual connection” between the pop star and SNL comic were met with mild amusement and surprise over their unlikely pairing. But after only a few weeks of excessive PDA and matching tattoos, the couple got engaged and made it the whole world’s business. Nobody could look away as they defied every relationship rule.
