Speaking of Partnership: Personal Stories of the Power and Payoffs of Partnership - Een podcast door Ken Bechtel

Do you follow your “Yes?” Following your “Yes” is about you taking a step forward in your partnerships by taking action and applying at least one thing you heard from our guests during their interviews this week. On today’s episode, all of this week’s guests have generously provided BONUS MATERIAL, not included in the interviews you listened to earlier this week. Each one has provided incredible examples of the power of following your “Yes”.  Enjoy! Jenna Ward Not Following – When Jenna was a Clinical Hospital Pharmacist she also lectured at a university.  Once she moved on to become an entrepreneur as an embodiment mentor, she was doing very well but some part of her was choosing out of fear to not let go of her one day a week university job. Some part of her was always resisting going to that job, but she still renewed her contract with them going entirely against her “Yes”. Once she finally got the courage to follow her “Yes” and leave this position, she realized that by ignoring her “Yes” for so long, now there were all these people in her life who had made plans around her and she would now have to disappoint. By following her “Yes” she felt instant liberation. Following – Jenna had avery successful practice in Brisbane, Australia doing energy medicine with her clients in person and at the same time she was feeling this strong guidance to move to Bali. She could not rationalize this guidance because she knew no one there, but something told her she was meant to go there.  So she decided to follow this “Yes” and make it happen. On her fifth day in Bali she met an amazing man who fell into her lap and they had an amazing adventure together. This only happened because she trusted that intangible knowing that was such a strong yes in her heart that she could not ignore it. How do you recognize your “Yes” from just your mind trying to convince you of something. Jenna’s golden rule for recognizing your “Yes” is that our heart has no justification.  It just is truth.  Unapologetically. As opposed to our head which has a big story of why we should, why we shouldn’t, why it’s good enough, why this will never work etc.   Your head will always have a big long story about “why.” Listen to Jenna’s full interview here Connect with Jenna – Jenna’s Website Jenna’s Facebook Link Embodied Women Facebook Group Jenna’s Instagram Link Jessica Winterstern Not Following – There was a time in Jessica’s life when she was in a relationship where there was such beautiful communication and connection and still her gut was saying “this isn’t right.” In the past she would give her power away and follow someone else’s truth instead of her own internal knowing.  And she allowed herself to be swayed because she loved him and respected him and was afraid to honor her truth for fear of disrespecting or hurting this man. Ultimately, this choice caused her to turn on herself.  Her heart was screaming “No this isn’t right!” Once she got to the place of saying yes to him and no to herself, she felt like she had betrayed herself. Following – Jessica has a pattern of drawing men into her life who are amazing and convinced they are meant to be with her. She has learned how to stand in her knowing and her truth and not be afraid to own it. Recently Jessica found herself in a relationship with a beautiful man who was convinced they were meant to be together and she got to see clearly he...
