Spirit Box - Een podcast door Darragh Mason

For episode 80 it is an honour and privilege to be joined by BAFTA award winning writer, Geoff Thompson. He is a highly regarded martial artist. He has a 7th Degree Black belt in Shotokan Karate along with a 1st Degree Black Belt in Judo. He worked as a night-club doorman for about 10 years in various clubs. He became a doorman to face and overcome his fear of violent confrontation. He has written fifty books, several multi-award-winning films, three stage plays and hundreds of articles, many published in national magazines and broadsheets. His work Romans 12:20, directed by the Shammasian Brothers has been adapted into a feature film, Romans, starring Orlando Bloom. A remarkable resume, and yet Geoff will tell you none of it matters, that it all pales into significance against the goal of winning one's will which he defines in the show and he takes us through his understanding of the power and true nature of forgiveness. In the Plus show we discuss how autonomy of will extends into what we consume in all forms and what we put out in terms of our behaviour. Geoff explains the importance of alignment of self, and the causal body in passionate detail. He asks us to confront the truth of our individual behaviour and take back our autonomy from the parasites that influence us.
