MY THOUGHTS ON THE KENOBI SCRIPT KATHLEEN KENNEDY CONTROVERSY

Kathleen Kennedy explains how the original script for Kenobi was too bleak. So she scrapped it and decided to go with something that ended hopeful. On one hand, this time in Star Wars is very bleak and meant to be oppressive as the Empire, Vader, Sidious and inquisitors loom over the galaxy. On the other hand, hopeful is how Ben Kenobi ends up once we get to A New Hope. So I can see where it could end in 10 years after this show's timeline, however now for just 10 years before.
