The 501st Clones vs. the Death Troopers

Were the 501st Legion of Clone Troopers that Anakin Skywalker and later Darth Vader commanded the toughest and strongest soldiers in the Galaxy? The soldiers that defeated the Separatist's Droid Army and killed hundreds of Jedi. Or were the Galactic Empire's Death Troopers, clad in black armor, and towering over their enemies at the height of 6'5 the superior force. Renowned for their elite training and advanced weaponry, the Death Troopers would be a formidable foe for 501st Clones. Which group comes out on top?
