Also: Theodosius of Rome, and his practice of designating roasted meat for seder night. The sages rebuke him, saying - were he not himself, they would excommunicate him for (appearing to be making) offerings outside of the Temple. So who was he (Who's Who) - in terms of his character (which the Gemara answers, somewhat implicitly) and the historical backdrop (which is less clear).
