The minimum measurements of the sukkah coming off the aron brings us to a discussion of God's arrival to meet with man - but always 10 tefachim above the ground. And even Moshe and Eliyahu didn't make it higher than those 10 tefachim, either. All of which suggests that our time in the sukkah is, or can be, should be, an encounter with the Divine. Also, on the kaporet - back to measurements. With a concern that the effort to derive those measurements from too many different sources risks attempting to prove more than the text really allows.
