We were born FREE, WILD, CURIOUS, JOYFUL, BRAVE, CONFIDENT. But somewhere along the way, we were taught to tailor back on being ourselves because it's safer there. "No one gets disappointed if they don't try." "No one gets hurt when they're not vulnerable." "No one gets criticized if they don't share." "No one has to do the work if they never decide what they want to do." The irony is that while we're doing all of this work to protect ourselves from outside pain, we can feel the pain of not being ourselves -- not being free radiating throughout our entire lives. That hope never goes away. It comes up at the most random times. We see someone make something and we say, "I could do that." We look at people creating lives they love and we look on with envy because we want the same things. We try to keep others from living their lives because we don't want them to get hurt. The trauma of rejection is all there in all we believe, say and do. We just have to do the work of unlearning these harmful lessons. So what attributes were you born with, and what did you eventually learn that caused you to cover yourself up in protection? How can you do the work to unlearn this? I give you an example of what my trauma taught me over the years, and I'm doing the hard work of unlearning all of this. What about you? What are you unlearning? ***SIGN UP TO HAVE LOVE SENT DIRECTLY TO YOUR INBOX! https://mailchi.mp/fcfc75e48d05/thefullwellproject-sign-up -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Journey w/ Us: IG: https://www.instagram.com/thefullwellproject Alecia: https://www.instagram.com/aleciarenece https://www.thefullwellproject.com https://www.aleciarenece.com -Questions, Comments, Voice Messages, Concerns, Want your Question Answered on Air?
