Ep. 72 - Snowblind, with Todd Cameron

On this episode of the Deep Share, I'm taking my tinfoil hat off and putting on my fanboy cap to talk to author Todd Cameron about his incredible novel, Snowblind. Todd is an author, an athlete, a traveler, and he's also the creator of Outpost31.com, the premiere fan site of John Carpenter's The Thing! As some of you may know, The Thing is my favorite movie of all time for a million reasons, and it was such a breath of fresh air to nerd out with another ultra fan of the film. We discuss our mutual love for The Thing, and Todd takes me through the timeline of events that led to writing his first Novel - SNOWBLIND - an action, suspense thriller that tells the origin story of The Thing's protagonist, Rj MacReady. For fans of The Thing, SNOWBLIND is an absolute must, jam packed with subtle references and strikingly detailed nods to the film, and a story that pays just homage to a classic character. But I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fast-paced suspense thrillers, as well. This was a lot of fun, Todd's a great person with a lot of heart.
