*This Very Special Interview is Dedicated in Loving Memory & Inspiration Forever - Dawson Our VERY Special Guest Today is AvaLynn Thuresson, Artist - Singer - Songwriter and on NBC's The Voice SN22 - Team Camilla Cabello Her older cousin, Dawson and her had a very tight bond. They were not only bonded by blood, they were best friends. And not only were they friends, they were bonded by the gift of music. You see, it was Dawson who taught her how to play the guitar and ignited her love for music. One day, when her piano bench broke, she called her family’s handyman and discovered that the handyman also played piano Rich Gomez. The Pianoman/handyman and her began playing together and soon started booking gigs at local bars. She got so good at the piano and guitar that she was twice selected to attend the prestigious Grammy Camp, designed to help students prepare for a life in the music industry. She was one of just eight students from across the country selected for the vocal track. Ava Lynn Thuresson, 18, of Santa Barbara, CA and she just performed “Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears for a two chair turn on NBC’s The Voice! “I’m a little bit country, a little bit soul.” Ava Lynn is from Coronado, CA and graduated high school earlier this year after being a member of the show choir, the National Honor Society and the Feminist Girls Leading Movement club. Her talents don’t She’s also a singer-songwriter, dancer and model Tragically, her inspiration, life teacher and original Coach, Dawson passed away in 2017.
