The Prime Minister says he can't fathom why Minister Andrew Bayly would make offensive comments to a worker during a visit. A worker claims the minister told him to “go home... take some wine, and F... off”, and made an L sign with his finger on his forehead. Bayly's apologised. Christopher Luxon told Mike Hosking Bayly didn't know the person, and he isn't aware of any connection between Bayly and the company. He says Bayly genuinely feels like he was trying to engage in light-hearted banter but got it so wrong.
