Stocktaking your progress..when did you last do that?!

When was the last time you did an actual stocktake of your progress? I’m not good at this.. however, I have just spent the past hour looking at progress photos of myself - VOMIT. I’ve spoken before about how I embarked on a program last July whereby I decided to be Vegan for 8 weeks! Anyone can do anything for 8 weeks, right? So I jumped on the train (You can check out @TheSculptedVegan if you wish! Not an affiliate, just an advocate and fan!)…. I have to tell you… I have been known to be quite body focussed in the past - in not a good way. I know that there has been some body dysmorphia at times (where you think you’re quite different physically compared to the reality of how you are) so I have been super careful about how I’ve approached this I can tell you however, that this has changed my relationship with food. What an awesome ‘side effect’ to this :) Anyway. Some 8 months later, with a break towards the end of Jan till almost the end of Feb, I was wondering what my progress pics looked like. WOW!!! I can’t believe how different my body is! (and my hair!) I’ve been training at the gym and feel like I’m almost back to where I was pre-break. I’ve been 99% Vegan since the end of July last year and I’ve really enjoyed it. What it got me thinking about, however, was that far too often we forget about our progress. We can forget about where we were and how far we’ve come. How do you measure progress? - I track my monthly income and sales every month (in fact every day) in a spreadsheet and can go back and look at that! - I thought I should actually do a stocktake of the courses I’ve run. There’s got to be close to 50 stand alone, not to mention the 8 week programs I was running every 2 months for years. Plus the events. Plus the free stuff. Plus the webinars. Gosh! - I should probably go and look at how many clients I’ve actually worked with over the years and the many countries they’re from! It reminded me of how much we generalise and distort our history and our reality. Bottom line is this: You’ve probably done a whole lot more (and have achieved a lot more) than you give yourself credit for!!! Want help with this? STAND UP, STAND OUT and help the millions of people you're here to help! YES YOU! This is the first step. And the second, actually, all rolled up into one kickass fabulous package!
