Joshua Jenkins, otherwise known as Kemo the Pianist and Black Beethoven, is a musician based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended West Chester University and has auditioned for Berklee College of Music. Joshua can be found performing on the streets of Philly in order to promote classical music in the inner city.  In this conversation, Allen and Joshua talk about the century-long debate about Beethoven being black and what influence that would have on the world. Joshua recalls first learning the keyboard on the Miracle Piano Super Nintendo game. He describes his music writing process and the keys he enjoys playing in most (F minor being one of them).
