Pennyworth Season 2 Episode 8 Synopsis Episode Written by: Seth Sinclair Episode Directed By: Catherine Morshead The death of Lord Harwood seemingly sparks  the potential for the negotiation of peace terms, as the English League in an act of reconciliation allows the funeral of Harwood to take place in  League occupied North London. But as both Parties sit around the negotiating table following the funeral ceremony the Raven Union deliver an ultimatum to the English League to surrender unconditionally or feel the full force of the weapon Storm Cloud. Elsewhere, Bet and Peggy Sykes  seek revenge for Harwood’s death and go after John Salt’s mistress, Vicki Du French.  They hope to use Vicki as a hostage, but while an attack on the conniving Salt is still on the table, Katie again persuades Bet to spare Vicki’s life and so Vicki becomes another window display at Syke’s House of Pain! Meanwhile, after staying in England to work with Thomas Wayne, Martha, Lucius and the English League Alfie has unfinished business with Gully Troy over the affair with his wife Melanie. Confronting him at his house and despite being prepared, Alfie is overpowered and forced by Gully to play a deadly game of cat and mouse in Epping forest. Injured and bleeding out Alfred manages to use all his survival skills to stop Gully and is rescued by his best friend Daveboy and his mother. At Raven Union headquarters as voting by the Raven Council begins to install Salt as the supreme leader a very familiar face joins the unanimous vote in support of John Salt.
