With it being a warm Sunday in the Spring (and Pentecost, no less) the station was bustling with activity. For that reason, instead of sitting in the cramped second class cars, Laetitia purchased a ticket to sit in the completely empty first class car, a decision she didn't normally make.Roughly one minute after leaving the Porte de Charenton station, the metro pulled up at its next scheduled stop, Porte Dorée.
