NASA Black Hole Sonification M87 9 Hours

Sleep Sounds by Tmsoft - Een podcast door Sleep Sounds by TMSOFT

This is the sound of data from the black hole at the center of galaxy Messier 87.  The sound uses data from telescopes including X-rays from Chandra, light from Hubble, and radio waves from the Atacama Array in Chile. Each set of telescope data is interpreted as a different range of audio waves which create melodic, chord like tones. The original sonification was only ~30 seconds but this version has been stretched significantly longer using special software and has been balanced between the right and left channels.
