Episode 345 - Anthem of Sorrow Debut

In this episode, I debut the first of the 22 songs on the two albums from the “Tightrope” book series. In episode 165, t talked about this song and what the title meant and how we sometimes live in places and spaces we feel are dark and oppressive. We might truly be singing the “Anthem of Sorrow.” I will play for you the song, and then we’ll talk more about not just the darkness, but the way to get out. We all have times of darkness, even complete hopelessness in our lives. It need not stay that way. There is always a way forward. That is something I learned when I was at my lowest point and looking for ways to die. I wanted to be free, yet the mercy of God intervened and saved me for better things.
